Red Hot is an annual RRAA art exhibit celebrating the heat of Louisiana summers with art produced in heat-provoking shades of red, orange, & yellow, or create your own expression of RED HOT! The exhibit ends with a reception and a People’s Choice vote for the best red hot art in the show.
Anyone can enter this exhibit. It is open to the public; has no children’s category; accepts paintings, photos, and 3-D art; and has no entry fee!
So get out your warm palette and get to work! Take-in at the Art Depot is Friday, July 10 from 2-6 p.m., and Saturday, July 11 from 12N -5 p.m. A public reception will be held Friday, July 31 from 4-6 p.m. For more information, leave a message at the office (644-8496) for event chair, Betty Marks.
